The IECH Fertility Center was founded in 1986. Its vision was to provide assistance and offer solutions to a growing number of couples looking for comprehensive infertility diagnostics and a variety of assisted reproductive treatments for the many challenges they face.

IECH has maintained an ongoing effort to participate academically in the development of human reproduction, with the objective of providing scientific support to medical professionals in Mexico and abroad. As such, in 1995, IECH started with its academic program in Human Reproductive Endocrinology.

Since then, IECH is offering a sub-speciality, academic program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility certified by the Autonomous University of Baja California (Universidad Autónoma de Baja California) which will be conducted in Monterrey during two years.

Course Objectives

* To identify the problem of infertility as a shared experience for couples, with its related biological, psychological, and social aspects.
* To identify the primary causes of male and female infertility as they relate to the population.
* To conduct an initial study of an infertile couple and perform all appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
* To analyze and interpret symptoms, physical exams, clinical tests, imaging procedures; and also, the complications, costs and benefits of fertility treatments.

IECH is dedicated to using the Internet and its benefits of making available a geographically dispersed team of professionals to support the realization of the dream of infertile couples to be parents.
